Hi,

I am running an experiment where I am trying to convert a pattern in EMF format into a TTF yet i can not achieve anything close to what I want to achieve.

The preview pane shows exactly what i want to achieve but obviously my settings are not correct as i get a bastardised version of what I need.

The EMF was created from an EPS exported from Microstation. I am using the import image tool with a threshold of 1, no smoothing filter, trace import mode and no erode-dilate.

I get a closer resemblance when I use the pixel import mode but it is very pixelised.

Any tips?

As I understand it, and I am not claiming expertise in the matter, EMF and WMF files may contain vector and bitmap information.

Something that might be worth trying is to make a Print Screen of your original artwork direct from the original application and paste from the clipboard into Microsoft Paint and then make the image larger within Paint and then save the image as a bmp file and then use that bmp file as the imported image to FontCreator.
