Could a feature be added to directly export multiple selected glyphs as separate SVG or PDF files? FONTLAB8 has a similar feature, which is very convenient for extracting individual or multiple glyphs.
We will consider it if more people find this useful.
What is your specific need for SVG files?
SVG 1.1 OR 1.2 is fine, and the bounding box should be added in oreder to keep the information of postion . no more required. Attachment is a sample.

. thanks for your attention!
Is it possible to add this function? thanks
Erwin,
There are many of us (probably most not on this forum) that do a lot of creative things using our Laser engravers. The special CAD programs will import .svg AND .pdf files, allowing total re-sizing, positioning, etc of whatever image or graphic (including individual text elements/glyphs) so being able to create ones that we need in Font Creator would really be a great asset to us.
Probably a lot of other people doing graphic image work could use this feature as well. For me, preferably .svg, but .pdf would be useful if that’s the only way the feature could be added.

+1 Yes. Exporting a glyph / set of selected glyphs from a font to SVG paths (or file) is a useful feature. At least for quick exchange of vector data.
Could you let me know if this request is possible to implement? If it’s going to be added, I hope the exported glyphs retain their position information, meaning that the surrounding whitespace should remain to indicate their original placement on the page, rather than having the glyphs match the page size.
