FC 15.0.0.3022 randomly freezes

I have the newest version of FontCreator (15.0.0.3022) and the newest version of Windows 11, and every minute or so, FC completely freezes (it doesn’t say Not Responding or anything it just stops) for about 30 seconds then resumes as normal. This bug is very annoying to my workflow and I don’t know what’s causing it.

Another bug I’m experiencing is sometimes I’ll undo several edits (to copy an old version of a glyph into a different font file), then redo them, and something messes up and it ends up not the same as before.

Should be noted I had several rather large files open when I experienced these

I’ve been using this version since its release and haven’t encountered any problems.
The problem may not be with the software.
Try doing some experiments.
For example, create a new, lighter file.
Use an earlier version.
Work with old files that worked smoothly for you.

Do send us the font project files and provide steps to reproduce the issue.

the steps to provide are simply to edit some glyphs (preferably for a while)

This is a large and rather complex font, so it will make FontCreator slower than a simple font. Still on my system it performs okay. At most 2 seconds of unresponsiveness.

Maybe you use a rather large text in the preview area, which can slow things down. Is FontCreator faster when you clear the preview text?
