This issue is spot when I am editing glyph. My edit workflow includes 1) constantly switching between point mode and contour mode and 2) editing the transformations position for a group of points.
When this issue kicks in, FC pauses for a few noticeable milliseconds and then it will randomly shift the contour to a surprising position.
I have not seen this issue before 3073, things are working flawlessly in 3072, so it is likely a regression introduced in the last release.
Sorry I missed your reply. I don’t use shortcut quite often, deep in my heart I still fear the memory corruption error in early versions when I close several tabs repeatedly via command + W.
That said, it would be great if I can right click any tab and choose “close tabs to right” like Chromium / Firefox currently offered.
I will update to the latest version and see if I can still reproduce this issue.
We have spent a lot of time improving stability on macOS, including the tab handling and related memory issues. In our own testing we no longer see crashes when repeatedly closing tabs, so I do hope the latest version resolves this for you as well.
The “Close tabs to the right” option is a good suggestion. I’ll add it to our list for consideration.
I have updated to the version 16.0.3076 and can not reproduce this issue so far in the first 48 hours. I consider it has been fixed. Thank you very much.
