font creator background setting

i saw these settings for background but i need it to save the x, y position and last image
could you add it in next version this x, y position (save options)

The background panel is per glyph and we don’t intend to enhance it.

In general it is better to use the mask layer.

  2. speed, performance of FontCreator 5-8 versions is very good, but 13-14 is very slow.
    Can’t you fix the speed, optimize it?

They were completely different programs. Later versions perform checks for font errors, convert OpenType features, and version 14 added support for variable fonts.

Erwin always tries to optimise performance, but programming soon reaches a point where further efforts only produce incremental improvements.
