Hello,

Does your font contain those missing letters?
No, empty Latin glyphs, should I add it to get the font name?
Yes, as your very own font is used to show the font name, so characters without outlines are shown empty. If you don’t want that, either try to delete those characters (not sure if that works), or provide decent outlines.
Let us know your results!
I deleted the empty characters, but it doesn’t work. I also tried providing the font name outlines, but got the same result. I think Font Creator should generate a default font name (by using any suitable one available in Windows) without depending on the Latin characters included in the font.
Do you want FontCreator to change the font name and exclude all unavailable characters in it?
So
KUFI FATIMI QURANIC
becomes
KUFIFATIMIUAIC
That is possible, but I don’t think this is a nice solution.
One more thing you can try is, to set the Font Coverage settings to manually, and then remove all Latin ranges from the Unicode Ranges and Code Pages.
Hi Erwin,
l don’t want that… What I meant is that when the font is installed and I go to a program like Microsoft Word, I should find the name of the font I entered in the font properties panel listed among the other fonts in Microsoft Word. It doesn’t necessarily have to match the characters in the font itself, even if those characters are empty or deleted. The font name should still appear upon installation without being affected by this.
