Font next line spacing, id like some

Hi this is my first post here, I have some new type faces to make, I made my first in photoshop and imported them into font creator, the fonts look great and all works well, only trouble is the spacing for the new line, there isn’t any. Say I have a word on line 1, then press enter for the next line and start typing with my new font, well the letters in the next line the top of the font touches the bottom of the font above, how do I not have that happen, I want to control the space used between type on one line and the space between the type on line 2.


Ill use the right terms from the FAQ.

The typo line gap is not there, the baseline of type on line one touches the cap height of the type on the line below, I need some space, how do I control this, why isn’t it there.

Format, Settings, Metrics, Calculate.
That should fix it.

Thanks mate it does.

This is a pretty neat program, I have to create a new font for the video games titles name that we produce, this program will come in handy for that little job, think Ill buy this program, making the type face in photoshop then importing them into fontcreator works well.
