I don’t have a scan of it, but I was wondering if anyone might know of a font that I’ve seen that is like the Angstrom symbol, a circle above the A letter, but is within the font itself, not using the unicode character for that symbol? Maybe a circle above all the letters of the font?
I thought there was such a letter scheme I saw once. Perhaps in a revolutionary or anarchistic, communist or somewhat of that type design mode of a font?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I guess you mean Durer Caps?
No help here. The standard letter A with Ring is (PC) Alt-143: Å
The only constructivist fonts I find are mostly squared and bold with some reversed letters and don’t meet your goals.
