Does it have Grid View? I mean to font be like in 3 rows, so you can browse through them faster. Didn’t find that option, so asking here
Try Toggle Family Grouping, the second last button on the toolbar.
BTW: There seems to be a bug because the sort order reverses on enable family grouping.
No, I mean like this, windows has this but without font manager functionality (attached image)

A grid view is not available.
Using family grouping achieves what you requested, making it faster to scroll font names. When you find one that you like, you can expand the family to show other available styles.
You can type some sample text to replace the font name if you wish.
We are currently implementing a grid view for the next upcoming major release of MainType.
Would this work?
I upgraded to the new version 13, but I haven’t been able to find where grid view is. When I click that paper icon dropdown, I get two options: Details and Icons. No Grid.
The Icons view is just a single column list with a lot more white space around it. If that’s grid-view, I can’t see how to add additional columns. Please help! Thanks!
Sorry for the confusion. In v13 the Grid View is labelled Icons in the paper-icon drop-down. That label will be changed to Grid View in the very next update so you’ll see Details View and Grid View.
We also discovered that on standard-DPI monitors the grid cells are rendered at double their intended size. With larger preview sizes (e.g. 36 pt) this forces the view into a single column, which is why it looks like a list. We’ll fix those cell dimensions in the same upcoming release.
Thanks for reporting it, and for upgrading to v13. The fixes are on the way!
We have just released an unofficial update that incorporates the improvements.
