I am new to Font Creator. Great Product!! I am designing a font where each letter is transparent and the box surrounding it is black. If I use a transparent color for the surrounding boxes, I get vertical lines between the letters. I tried everything to remove them and I still can’t. I would really appreciate any help with this. I have attached a sample.

The left and right side-bearings for each glyph should be zero.
Or -5.
I’ve never made such a font, but I do have them.
For instance, when I open Eames Century Modern Stencil Cameo, there are 65 funits from the edge of each character to the side bearings, and there is a 5 funit distance the solid portion of the characters go past the side bearings.
Though there are other features in the font, there is no kerning (kinda obvious there wouldn’t be).

And don’t forget to include a solid character to substitute for a space. This one is -10.
I think this overlap of two glyphs due to the negative side-bearings is the reason for the vertical line when transparency is applied to the font. That’s why I suggested setting the side-bearings to zero — then they won’t overlap.
