In case we need alternative mark on custom glyph, how can we do that in the FC’s OT Designer?

If you need an alternative mark for a custom glyph, you can define it as a Character Variant (cv01–cv99) in the OpenType Designer. Just create the alternate glyph, then add a cvXX feature and set up the substitution from the default glyph to your variant.
