I’m working on a shape test for my variable font, and I’m having trouble with interpolation, the interpolation from axis loc 5 to 10 is not work.

I assume you’d like the inner rectangle to remain within the outer one during interpolation. That can be tricky, since the bounding box is a rotated rectangle rather than a straight one.
I’ve worked on it and brought it this far — the project now includes 13 masters.
