> Is There a Complete Excel Table of Arabic Characters with Smart Glyph Names for Font Development?

Hello,

I’m working on creating a professional Arabic font using FontCreator, and I’d like to build a complete Character Map from scratch. For this purpose, I’m looking for a ready-made and well-organized Excel file that contains all essential Arabic characters, including:

The four contextual forms of each basic letter (isolated, initial, medial, final)

Arabic and Eastern Arabic numerals

Full set of diacritics (fatha, damma, sukoon, shadda, etc.)

Common text symbols (like: ؟ ، ؛ ٪)

Suffixes, abbreviations, and other symbols commonly used in Arabic texts

I would also like the table to include the standard Smart Glyph Names, such as beh-arab.init, alef-arab.fina, etc., to make integration into FontCreator easier with proper GPOS/GSUB support.

Is such a file already available? Or is there a reliable method you would recommend for constructing it manually?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

I don’t know why you need the Excel file. Choose “Complete Category”
Arabic

Arabic Presentation Forma-A
Arabic Presentation Forma-B
It will include everything without exception.

Then copy the names from Edit Glypy Names.
