on latest FontCreator 15.0.3011 i’ve set my workspace (close all panels) but start the program, after loading data, for 1 sec i see that:
then FontCreator start with my clean work space:
also: untick from View - Toolbar - Tab Bar on next run of FontCreator it’s like before again. i think both issue is cause to read custom setting from registry

This may cause some flickering or display issues during startup. Unfortunately, due to the way the software initializes, we cannot prevent this from happening at this time. Regarding the tab bar, we have received support questions in the past from users who accidentally hid it. To address this issue, we have decided to allow hiding the tab bar on a per-session basis only. This means that while you can hide it during your current session, it will reappear the next time you start the software. We hope this strikes a balance between customization and usability.

if that’s the case, and you’re already aware of it, i think I’ll go back to version 14, which in my opinion work better
