Kerning Issues in Microsoft Publisher

I am using font creator 5.0 to create some fonts, but i am having a kerning issue with them in Publisher.

I have kerned the fonts and then tested them in Microsoft Word and they look fine. When I place the same text into publisher, however, the kerning is off and some letters are too close together, despite their listed kerning.

Any thoughts on why I am encountering this problem and how i can solve/prevent it?

If the kerning is correct in Word, and in Font Creator, I would suspect a problem with MS Publisher. Perhaps you used manual kerning before adding kerning values to the font, so you now have kerning applied twice. Start over or remove all kerning in MS Publisher.
