While trying to translate the FontCreatorManual, I noticed:
Tip: Select one point in a Glyph panel and press the G key on your keyboard to add horizontal and vertical guidelines that go through the selected point.
Is there a similar command for anchors?

At the moment G only adds guidelines when a regular node is selected. We like your suggestion, so I’ve logged it: in an upcoming update we’ll make G do the same when a single anchor is selected. That should save a few clicks.
