Letters not working after new font installed

Hello All,
We have created and installed a new font. However, the letters do not show up when we type.
The font is a cursive Hebrew. The letters show up on the Windows information page, after we install it.
However, when we select the font, and type, it generates English letters.

Here is a quick video showing the issue: https://youtu.be/k0if6w64ow4

Your input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Do send the font to us and we will take a look.

Hello Erwin Denissen,

What address do I send the font to?
Or, do I need to put it onto Dropbox and send you a PM?

Erwin,
I sent the font to the High-Logic customer support email.

I don’t see anything wrong with the font, and it works just fine here.

Does it work if you open the Test Font dialog and then use the font name as shown there?

If so, then it might be a font cache issue.

It looks like it is working in notepad, and some other programs.
It is not working in Microsoft Word.
Have you tried it in Microsoft Word?

Thanks

Yes, I successfully used the font in Word. Can you try it on another machine?

We tried several machines with the same issue. It appears to be a problem with Microsoft Word 2019.

We started re-creating the font manually. It is working, so far, as we test each letter. It will take a few days to re-create the font.

I hope you have managed to recreate the font without issues. Still awkward the original font failed. Maybe the font name is too long?

The re-created font appears to be working properly.

The naming length should not be an issue. We have had longer names without issues.

It is good to know you now have a font that works.

I am still interested in locating the cause of the problem. If you want me to dig into it, do send me the other font.

I will be glad to.
Additionally, I will make a screenshot video showing the workflow.

It may be this afternoon before I can get to it.
