I would like to report a critical issue I am experiencing with FontCreator.

While working with a font, I tried to enter the OpenType Designer and immediately encountered the following error:

Access violation at address 0000000000334443 in module ‘FontCreator.exe’ (offset 14443). Read of address FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

After closing the file, I was unable to reopen it. Instead, I now consistently receive this error:

List index out of bounds (-858993344). TAnchorClassList range is 0 .. 111.

This situation makes it impossible to continue my work, as the affected font file can no longer be opened.
I kindly request urgent attention to this matter. Please confirm whether these bugs are already known, if a fix is planned, and whether there is any available workaround.

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the disruption.

This isn’t a known issue; our logs from the last 5 months don’t show similar crashes.

I’ve recovered most of your project and will send the repaired file to you privately.

To help us fix it, please share the exact steps to reproduce (from opening the font to entering OpenType Designer).
