I am having an issue where some fonts that I open seem to be non-editable. When i swipe over the characters the shapes are not selectable.
Any idea?
It might be a component while you are in point mode.
Or maybe it is an empty cell which is showing a sample. Does the status bar at the bottom give an indication of the number of contours or maybe it shows “–> Empty”?
It could also be a SVG color glyph, as those can not be edited within FontCreator. You need to make changes to them inside an SVG editor and then import back into FontCreator. You can see the current view through the Color Mode menu item, available through the View menu.
