Hello!
I recently bought a licence for MainType 11 after using it for free for quite some time. Since my order was so close to the release of MainType 12, I was given a free upgrade, thank you very much for that.
Unfortunately I cannot use it, cause it constantly crashes right after loading up. The software just closes. I thought that my groups of fonts might be the issue, so I uninstalled the software including all the data.. Well f***, that was not the cause.
Version 12 starts exatcly one time after a fresh install. After a reboot I am unable to run the software, until I uninstall and reinstall it again.
For now I went back to MainType 11 but I would love to be able to use V12. I am running Windows 10 Pro, all drivers up to date.
Can you help?
Have you checked for updates? Some bugs were fixed since the first release.

Well I would love to check for updates, but I cannot do that since the software crashes immediately. I just installed V12 again and it crashed right away 
Sometimes a browser caches the previous release, so then you just install the same version. Can you try this direct link to the setup file?

Hi,
I found a link to 12.0.0.1289 in another thread here and tried that version. It seems to be ok now? I have installed and restarted my computer and right now the software starts fine. I haven’t added any font groups yet, so I hope that the software will still run fine once I have created them.
12.0.0.1290 is the latest version, follow Erwin’s link, or check for updates.
