"Missing" symbols - pls help

Test Font Question

I am so excited to be almost through my first font. I have one question though. When I go to the test font page some of the letters are duplicated above the row of letters I have created and there are also a couple of black boxes down below. Is this something I have done and will it affect my font. I hope I have explained this clearly. Thanks so much for any help you can give.
