"Missing" symbols - pls help

I just created a font out of my own handwriting. Everything works fine on the test page, as in every character created shows up on the test font screen, punctuation symbols and all.

However, when I installed the font, the quotation mark (") and aprostophe (') symbols don’t appear when I tried using it on Word and Photoshop. What’s weird is that these 2 symbols appear when I use the “insert symbol” function, but not when I use the keyboard. There’s nothing wrong with the key, cos it appears for every single font, except the one I created.

Any idea why?

This is a common issue, I wonder how to improve Font Creator, to prevent this.
