I am making a chart on appeasement of Hitler in the 1930s and would like a nice font that illustrates “spinelessness,” a Salvador Dali look. I searched a few font sites but didn’t see anything in the results. Can any of you identify free fonts that have letters that, in Salvador Dali fashion, are folded over, melting, or something like that?
No melted. Here’s a thought to use fire as dramatic letters in very large sizes and colored.
There are 3 variations – white (this sample), cameo (black background) and monospaced with black background. http://sharemole.com/1atgh6u6
Thanks, but after installing them, Word 2010 crashed twice.
I believe the solution is to turn off Clear Type.
"How to Enable ClearType
To use ClearType for screen fonts:
- Click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display. [In XP, Display, Appearance, Effects.]
- On the Appearance tab, click Effects.
- Click to select the Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts check box, and then click ClearType in the list."
I think this solves the problem. RSVP. Dick
I think I’d prefer keeping ClearType on.
Thanks anyways.
Creepy from Arts and Letters distributed with PagePlus X4 Resources CD maybe what you want. I don’t know where else it is available.
Thanks, Bhikku, but it just doesn’t have the “spinelessness” look that I want my chart to play off of.
