Need help with keeping size ratio between lowercases

Hi,
i am very new to creating font and i have a problem
with keeping correct size ratio when pasting vectors in FontCreator.

Basically, i have these vectors in illustrator
wich all have the correct size ratio between them…

But when i paste them in FontCreator, they are all resized
to the same height (wich i don’t want)…

So is there a way to keep the size ratio when pasting them (or automatically ajust them)
or will i have to tweak them all one by one ?

Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated.
Marco

I don’t think that should be happening. Can you zip four or five AI files and attach them to the forum for testing purposes? Please include the lowercase x, which sets the x-height, and the uppercase H which sets the Caps height.

Yes, here is my illustrator file. It’s from CS3 version.
OutlinedFont.zip

Your file contains an entire alphabet. The idea is that each character should be a single AI file and you import one file into each glyph.

Are you using FontCreator 6 or an earlier version?

Ok, thanks a lot for the tip it seems to work (i’ve only tested with x, b, d and g so far). I am using FontCreator 6.1 pro.
What i did before was copy/paste each letter individually into their corresponding case inside FontCreator. I thought it was the same things than using the import menu.

May i ask one last question? Some letters (like g, j, q) needs to have their base lower than (for example) b, d, etc… But for now they all have the same base.

Am i doing something wrong? This is no big deal, i can ajust them manually but maybe there is another way.

Again, thank you so much for the help.

No, you’re not doing anything wrong. You need to adjust baselines and bearings manually. The scale should now be the same for all imported glyphs.

You can drag and drop an entire alphabet into FontCreator in one operation.

From Vector to Font

Yes It worked out perfectly.
Thank you again for the help.
