No apps can display correct color of foreground color glyph

I created a test font called MyFont. I added a layed color glyph. I wanted to test the Foreground option so the user could pick the text color and have some of the glyph pre-colored and the rest user defined.

No matter what I do, No document app displays the user defined (foreground) part of the glyph. That part always shows up black. Does this feature actually work? Am I doing something wrong?

I am including the ttf file. The glyph is saved on letter capital “A”. The far left bar is supposed to be the “Foregroud” color. It only works in FontCreator, nowhere else.

MyFont-Regular.ttf (7.4 KB)

Word somehow hides all other members, but it does honor the Foreground color.

It works perfectly in a webbrowser.
