Hi. I edited a font to have characters from my country and when I export font there isn’t any characters I added. I upload my project .fcp file. Font isn’t mine. I only added characters. Can somebody help ? In project all characters are.
That is probably because you’re using an unregistered version of FontCreator.
Please see the FAQ
If you wish to add your own characters to someone else’s font, use a font that has an Open license agreement.
I have a registered version.
For me, all glyphs export successfully.
- Myanmar Letter Cha (uni1006) is mapped
- Myanmar Letter Cha below (uni1006_1_lig) is not mapped
- Myanmar Letter Ca below (uni1013_lig) is not mapped
- Myanmar Letter Tha below (uni101E_lig) is not mapped
I could not find any codepoints for these glyphs in the Unicode Chart. Are they included somewhere? If they are, that’s the simplest solution. Users then type the actual glyphs.
If you intend for these glyphs to be used only as Glyph Substitutions, they don’t need to be mapped.
Although I can read Pali Myanmar script I have no experience of editing OpenType Myanmar fonts so I don’t know how they are designed to work. Do you understand about Contextual Ligatures, and so forth?
Please show us a screenshot of the about box.
This ?
No, you are not using a registered version, but a cracked version. You’ve found out the hard way there are differences.
- Legal copy: works
- Illegal copy: looks like it works, but doesn’t. Instead it comes with malware, and other stuff you don’t want on your PC.
I suggest your run some decent anti-virus and malware removal software, and then buy a license from us.
