I have had no issues previously when bringing in any of my other vector glyphs created elsewhere into FC, however only with this one glyph do some of the overlapping sections appear to be removed.
Part of what confuses me is that it is comprised of three pieces and two pieces create this overlapping issue, however the third piece at the bottom is behaving as it should like all the other glyphs that I’ve created.
What might be causing this with only portions of this one individual glyph but none of the other glyphs?
This looks like a contour-direction issue. When overlapping contours use inconsistent directions, the overlap can be interpreted as a cutout instead of a filled area.
Open the Validation panel to see whcih contour has an incorrect direction. You can then use the Correct contour direction toolbar button to fix this issue. The lower section likely behaves correctly because its contour direction is already consistent with the surrounding shapes.
