Overlapping letters

I have in mind a possible font where some letters overlap one another by a considerable extent; will Font Creator handle that?

Clearly, the design will need to allow for any conceivable letter combination, and I realise that the most likely result is that the page will simply look a mess; but I’d like to experiment.

Yes. FontCreator can handle the negative left and right side-bearings that you need for joining scripts, or combining diacritical marks.

You could still use Scanahand for the initial font creation, or you can import bitmaps or vectors directly into FontCreator for better results.
