Hi, I am new to font creator and have searched this forum to an answer to this question with little success. I would like to make a font that looks as good as the fonts that come with Windows. But even if I copy the glyphs from one of the windows fonts and paste into my own font and then test the two fonts. My glyphs appear jagged as point sizes below 14pt, whereas the windows fonts don’t.
I have already examined the Hinting on both fonts, and there is no difference.
What am I doing wrong. Why won’t the fonts rasterize smoothly the way the windows fonts do?
