Each time I delete and resave my font, I get 2 identical copies, with the same names in the /windows/font folder. Why is this and could it be causing some of the problems I’m having?
The safest way to work is to save your font somewhere outside of the Windows Fonts folder. Don’t edit installed fonts at all.
Uninstall your old version from the Fonts folder, then reinstall the latest version. Keep backups of both old and new versions on an external drive or USB stick.
By “uninstall” do you just mean “delete” or is there an acutal way to “uninstall”. Becasue what I’ve been doing is when I install a new version I go the the fonts folder and delete it. Then, I let Font Creator install the new version. Is this right or is there a better way?
That’s right. To uninstall a font you have to go to the Windows\Fonts\ folder and delete it.

The answer is in the other thread. The quotes were incorrectly mapped.
