Suggestions for tagging fonts

I started tagging fonts that I knew were a certain type of font, but I still have hundreds to tag. It very laborious checking different websites (for example Adobe, Microsoft, Dafont, etc) to find out the type of font.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Right-click on the column headers in the list view, and enable Classification. That may give you a head-start.

Make sure that you back up your tags when you have done a lot of work, from Import and Export on the Tools menu.

Thank you. That is very helpful. Do I tag each of them, or would that be redundant as they are already in Classifications?

Or, can I add a Decorative “Predefined View”, like there is for Serif and San Serif?

Re the fonts: BAUHAUS 93 Regular and BROADWAY Regular classified as ‘Decorative’, I would not tag them as ‘Decorative’, but not sure how to tag them. This is what I am trying to learn.

You could reduce your workload by only tagging those for which Sans, Sans Serif, Decorative, etc., don’t fit. You could bulk tag all Sans tabs, and so on, so that you can hide the classification column and just filter/sort by tags.
