The font contains bad /Widths

Hello,
I receive this message when I produce a PDF from InDesign.
How can I fix it?
Thanks,
Hanoch

Please contact Adobe and report the issue.

There are other people who reported such issue here:

If for some reason it is due to an issue in the font, let us know.

I moved your thread from Tutorials and Solutions, as that is not the right place for support questions or bug reports.
Was this font produced with FontCreator? If so, which version?

Yes, FontCreator 13 last version.
The problem started since I updated FontCreator yesterday.

Do send the font project file to us, and we will investigate possible issues with the font.

The font does contain NULL anchors. Maybe it does not support those. Do ask them, and let us know your results.

You can see the warnings about those when you compile the OpenType feature code.

OK i am going to check it. Please leave the topic open for few days.

Now I fixed all those errors, and still get the message “The font contains bad /Widths”.
But i’ve found the problem: Some diacritics were on wrong width.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, you are right. I somehow overlooked that issue, but now it seems pretty obvious. Technically I do not think it is bad, but maybe PostScript has a lower limit.

FontCreator could add some warning in case the bearings are way off. We already have an Outline Issues category. Would that help?

Yes, that will be great!
I found the error only after isolating the corrupted page on the PDF.
