There is an icon on the Drawing Toolbar to zoom to the Selected Glyph Member, Contour, Point or Selection, and another icon to zoom to the default zoom scale.
It would be better to have a shortcut to toggle between zoom to selected and zoom to default zoom. The single-key shortcut “z” is currently unused. The list in FontCreator 13 needs updating to include “;” for removing offsets.

This will save me a lot of time as I am fixing a number of glyphs in my Sukhumala font, which has five type styles.
I am glad to know that even these little improvements are appreciated 
Attention to fine detail is important , FontCreator is the best.
