Good evening,
I have just started working with MainType and I am wondering if there is a way to display the same text sample with two different fonts at the same time?
In order to single out alternatives or to find good matches.
Best,
Wolfgang

See my solution in this topic.
Good morning Bhikkhu,
thanks for pointing me to this thread, which I did not find right away. You are right, using tags can be a solution. But I am feeling more in the direction of those other forum members asking for a dedicated solution to compare fonts.
I do find the sample panel really helpful. Why not extending this? Or offering the chance to create a special layout for comparing (several) fonts?
The thread you mention did start some years ago. So the wish is not new. Having more and more OTF and color fonts with special features, tagging will not be sufficient to make the right choices - I guess.
Thanks for looking into this once again.
Best, Wolfgang
