Nothing is duplicated there.
LSB = Left Side-bearing
RSB = Right Side-bearing
TSB = Top Side-bearing (Vertical bearings for Chinese, etc.)
BSB = Bottom Side-bearing
I suppose that LSB and RSB could be linked, but values like that would be the exception rather than the rule.
If you have a single glyph selected from a non-variable font and you are not using expressions, then it is indeed redundant.
But if you use an expression (for example ), you will see the actual value in front of the edit box.
And with multiple glyphs selected, it will show values from one glyph on the left side of each edit box. This allows you to modify side bearings for a selection of glyphs. Same goes for a variable font, if Edit across layers is enabled.
