Windows Vista Fonts - rework

Hi all,

I don’t know, if it is a bug or if I only need a special solution.

In 2007 or 2008 I reworked the Windows Vista fonts Constantia, Cambria etc.
Now I want to open the Fonts again to rework it once more (the space between the characters is too small). But now a strange error message occurs:

constan.ttf cannot be identified as a font file.

Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance,
chewie

I’m not sure if you’re allowed to make modifications to these fonts, but I assume you’ve taken care of that.

Did you make these changes with FontCreator? When do you see the error appear?

Can you send a copy of one of these fonts directly to me? I’ll see if I can identify your problem. The font is only used for the purpose of reproducing and understanding the reported problem.

Yes, all changes with FC. I sent the constantia file to you.

I have just received a font file and I can open it without problems in FontCreator 5.6. Are you using an older version?

Oh! Yes, you’re right. I can make it with the 5.6! (I used the 5.5) Thank you!
