I seem to remember that it is possible to link to a specific post within a thread, yet I do not know how to do it.
I am trying to link directly to the fourth post in the following thread.

In case I wish to use the technique again, how did you find the 8175 given the 2157 and it being the fourth post please?

The edit is so that I am now spelling the word fourth correctly!
Just mouse over (or click) the Quote or Edit button, and you’ll see it in the status bar.

Even easier is to mouseover the little icon just before where it says “Posted” followed by the date, and copy the link address.
